Little Eden Preschool’s play-based curriculum focuses on kindergarten readiness skills, while instilling a love of reading and writing in your child. Each month, I highlight a children’s author and their books. Hands-on activities are implemented to help develop a head start on reading and comprehension.

 

I use the Learning Without Tears curriculum to teach children the alphabet by introducing letters in a systematic way for ease of writing. Science of reading strategies are also implemented and an important part of our classroom. Our everyday class structure also incorporates play time (social and emotional), math, science, fine motor skills, art and music.
